We go through a comprehensive examination to determine the current strength of your vision and to prescribe your lenses, whether we are going with glasses or contacts. Another benefit to our examination is our ability to check for any issues such as glaucoma, diabetes-related issues, and possible eye infections. Our goal is to make sure your eyes are well-cared for. Although we don’t perform any operative services, you are still important to us and knowing your total eye health can assist in catching problems while they are still small and easily treatable.

The Tests We Perform

There are two very sophisticated tests we perform. One is a Digital Retinal Imaging. This allows us to take pictures of your retina. The other is a Visual Field Examination. This exam allows us to measure your retinal activity and your sensitivity to light. Both examinations will assist us in early detection of potential problems. 

Insurance

We participate with VSP, Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, ADN, Avesis, Aetna, Delta Discount (VSP), Eye Med, Heritage, Local Unions, NVA,  Spectera, Teamsters, WEYCO. We can bill major medical insurances when applicable. Check with our staff if you have other types of coverage or if you are interested in financing options.
